Restaurant

Our English Restaurant is located on the ground floor, easily accessible and close to the modern bar. The lighting is more intimate than bright and intrusive, ideal for an intimate relaxed meal. We have three distinct areas of seating.

The menu both online and in the Restaurant reflects that we use fresh locally sourced ingredients at every possible opportunity. Our wines from from as far as Australia and as close as Charles Palmer vineyards 30m from our front door.

The term “Of the day” can be misunderstood, at Winchelsea Lodge when we say “Soup of the Day” we mean that we refuse to use ingredients that are not at their best, and since we have deliveries every day we order enough to give you a choice. Examples of current “Soup of the day” are listed below

The Winchelsea Lodge offer a delicious carvery every Sunday for only £10.95 with a choice of three meats and all the trimmings or tasty vegetarian or fish alternatives.

Popular with locals and guests it is always advisable to book in advance to avoid disappointment. Tables are available from 12 noon to 4pm.
